To Whom It May Concern:

Thanks so much for taking the time to consider my project entitled “VINCENT – THE JUNKIE CHRONICLES”.

This film is a labor‐of-love that I have been working on for over 12 years. It is the true story of Vincent, an articulate, educated veteran of the Seattle grunge scene who became addicted to heroin. This film documents his descent into the maelstrom of his disease. The footage is extremely graphic and moving, as Vincent struggles to emerge from the horrible life he has created. He does seem to triumph over his addiction, but he has paid a terrible physical and emotional price.

I feel strongly that this film has Academy Award potential. The 10-minute “teaser” for this film won an award at the Bumbershoot One Reel Festival.

As well as having a broad appeal as an amazing story of recovery, Vincent’s life can serve as a cautionary tale to anyone considering experimenting with heroin. I feel this film can be a great deterrent to young viewers who might be curious about drug use.

I have managed to shoot and transfer a great deal of footage over the last 12 years and now I am looking for assistance in finishing the project. I am told there is potential revenue from box office release, and also feel there would be a market for this film in school districts where drug use is a problem. Of course, I am willing to discuss a percentage of profit participation with investors, in exchange for finishing funds. This is a truly worthy investment, both in terms of the potential of recouped funds and the possibility of helping others.

Once again, I would like to thank you for time and consideration.

All the best,
Michael Failla
